The Rutter Logo
The Rutter Logo captures the notion of what a rutter is, with some poetic license. Oceanic Rutters are instructions to perform regular long-distance sea voyages. The voyage is represented by the blue line; its shape is somewhat akin to the India Run, with its famous contour around Africa; the two reflected R’s, signify the outbound and inbound voyages; the double tt can be assimilated to the “pillars of Hercules”. The Rutter Logo was designed by Luís Ribeiro.
