On 4 February David Salomoni spoke at the Rome Auditorium about the many faces of Francis Drake, the queen’s corsair bound to change the England’s history forever, who circumnavigated the earth in the mid-sixteenth century to strike the Spanish empire. The lesson took place as part of the series of History Lessons organized by the Italian Publisher Laterza, with the theme in 2024 being “The borders of the world”.
